Abused children deserve a voice in the cases that decide their lives. Lawyers for children provide effective advocacy and studies confirm reduced time in care and better outcomes. First Star Institute's programs support the right to counsel for all abused children in court.

The Institute promotes best practices in education, research and law to help abused and neglected children lead happier and more productive lives.Too many abused and neglected children don't get the supports they need.
